Video Boy – Character one

English Gentleman

This character is based on my first idea of creating a character such like The Artful Dodger from the story ‘Oliver’. I developed this first plan by making him look cleaner cut with an umbrella and a waistcoat showing how he sticks to traditional style. I created this character in paint due to the vast amount of tools they offer such as different shapes, different colours and different drawing tools. This allowed me to create a character which you could imagine seeing in a video game due to it connoting the aspect of being computer based, this helps link the character to the music because of it relating to the problems the singer talks about in his music such as being alienated and being let down.
